Pictures as promised
Hi, everybody:
As promised, here are pics of the Premier Edition GL450 I waited so long to get, as well as pics of the rest of the "family." Enjoy.

My GL came with Michelin 275/50/WR 20 tires and they're mounted on MB 5 spoke 20 inch wheels. In my glove box I found a booklet with all the accessories available for the GL and in it they simply describe the wheels as 20 inch 5-spoke.

The other 20 inch wheel option is called Porrima. It is also 5-spoke, but the finish is stirling silver as opposed to the Titanium silver on mine, and the spokes are a wee bit wider. I think they look very nice. You should, however, look at other wheel options from aftermarket sources. Some of the one's I've seen on this forum are spectacular. Hope this helps. Good luck with your purchase.

C'mon Doc, more pix please.
A few interior shots would be much appreciated. How's the interior wood? I've heard differing reports on the matte vs. gloss issue. Also, does the leather cover the top of the dash as well?
Thanks in advance.

I'll post more pics as soon as I have a chance. The wood inside reminds me of fine furniture. The parts of the dash and doors that have the birch wood also have a texture, akin to a wood desk or table, on which you can feel the grain. The wood on the steering wheel has a satin finish. I'm not sure yet if I like the textured feel of the wood on the doors and dash because I'm afraid it could splinter, but it certainly looks very elegant against the black nappa, which, yes, does cover the entire top of the dash. Again, I'll post more pictures when I have a moment. Cheers.
