Rear Seat DVD PLAYER Ipod

I bought some cables (IPOD CABLES) to plug IPOD to DVD under rear seat, the cables ends don't fit right into the DVD and you have to hold them in to make them work. Connectors just arent right for it, they want to pop out.

I looked at some other brand, the ends looked same.

Anyone find a brand of cable that worked? The end that goes into the IPOD inself would be the ideal plug for the in car DVD player. If anyone has found a good cable that works pleas elet me know.

Thanks...

What function will IPOD to DVD perform? Are you going to play music through the DVD and out of the AUX on Comand?

Yes, i know it works cause i had it working but i had to hold connectors in. Sounded a lot better than FM.

Need connectors that stay in though.

Till they get IPOD fix with RSE.

I was told this works...

RoadShow™ Car Audio/Video Cable for iPod with video

However, since I don't have my GL yet, I can't say for sure if it works. If your interested in giving it a try, its made by Roadshow™, and I know XtremeMac sells them for $50. If you pick one up and it works, let me know.

Apparently, RCA or composite plugs do not seem to fit right the aux holes. I managed to play my ipod from the back aux by holding and pushing the plugs into the hole, the moment I let go, the connection was lost. You have to use the remote and choose aux 1 or aux 2 as the input.

I ask radioshack if there are other types of composite plugs or the likes but there none. Anybosy knows what kind of plugs to use?

I just tried my Playstation2, and the cables would not stay in. WTF?

These cables fit into every other composite/RCA plugs I have come across. What is the deal with MB?
