CL Owner has joined the meet
I had a email from MJH who has posted on this forum. I referred her to Greg at Westminster and she ended up buying a beautiful CL550. She and her mate will be in LV for business the meet weekend and they will be joining us for dinner and the Saturday AM trek to Red Rock.

Rao's Reservation - Final List
I sent the following list to Rao's to confirm our party's event:
BeanCounter = 1
BETO = 2
MJH = 2
Nevada Jack = 1
Newbie_2_MB = 2
Oknish = 4
S550 & GL550 = 2
StevethePilot = 4
Stumblefoot = 1
I told them to prepare a spot for us at the bar at 8:00p for arrivals/drinks with dinner served at 8:30p in the restaurant. I'll let you know when I receive confirmation back.

I'm Dodson's father. Met with the dealer yesterday and found out that we should have at least one of our two GL550s by the second week of October. We would like to join the group in Las Vegas. We would be driving from Reno. Stumblefoot, is there any way you can add two more to your dinner list for Friday night?

When I turned in my # to Rao's I had them hold a couple of extra seats just in case. So, you can count on 2 seats at the table Friday night.

Roof top meeting
I am rethinking the roof top organizational meeting on Saturday morning. Based on the number of vehicles now involved I think the casino security will be a problem when they see all these SUV's headed for the roof.
I think it may be better to meet between 9-9:30 AM at the Red Rock Conservation Area marker of Charleston Blvd extended. There is ample shoulder (good tight gravel base) and we can parked lined up and go to the RR area from there. Trying to keep a convoy of SUV's and manage the stop lights and traffic will be next to impossible. The access to RR is about 2-3 miles of open road after the marker, but before that it is mostly LV local traffic streets....wide but busy.
I will get some kind of map with directions from the strip to the RR marker. It is very similar to the pdf I posted, you just don't stop at the Suncoast, but go another 2 lights, turn right and go straight out Charleston Blvd. to the RR marker.
Any comments or suggestions (from the LV owners.)

This is a pretty straight shot and no construction and highway mess. Just West on Flamingo, onto the LV beltway for a short stint and off at Charleston Blvd and turn left and you are there. You cannot miss the off ramp at Charleston since the Red Rock Casino and Hotel takes up the entire east side of the off ramp.The link should open up the directions and the map in pdf. If not I will find another way to post it.

Here is the menu for BJ's brewery which I hope can accommodate this crowd. I will be checking with them in the next week or so. I will get the count from Brian and use that as a planning figure for lunch after the Red Rock tour. If they can't handle that size crowd on a weekend day, then we may just have to be on our own?
