Passenger Mirror Dip feature fixed.
kudos to my service manager. While getting the 3000 miles service, I asked my Service manager to look at the passenger mirror dip feature in reverse. To my surprise he said that he will get it checked out.
When I got back the car, it indeed was working

Ok
There is no option in the menu, uness someone knows .... I had to ask the service manager and I guess they had to enable it for me. There are probably loads of such features which have been disabled for some reason

What was your GL450 production month? I heard anything produced after June didn't have this feature anymore.

Glad to know there is a potential solution for one of the few issues with my E63 so far, as I've tried programming the parking mirror function per the owner's manual without success.
Am still waiting for the 1,000 mi inspection to get here before I bring it in and have them look into it along with a crazed Parktronic sensor in the left front corner.

On my SL500, the feature is under the driver menu accessable through the streeting wheel. Couldn't find this feature on my ML350.

I had my service guys looking for about an hour for both the passenger mirror dip and the seat retraction on key removal, and they couldn't find either. Any way you could ask him what menu the options were under and which ones they were?
