Are there any MB-compliant oils (for new diesel) generally available in the US?

Are there any MB-compliant oils (for new diesel) generally available in the US?
I'm coming up on the 10,000 Service and would rather not overly enrich the dealer by buying their oil.

Your sig doesn't say where you are, but if you are in a major metropolitan area, you should be able to find a Chevron - Mobil distributor that can get you the Mobil I ESP 5W30 Formula M. They may not stock it but certainly can get it for you given a little advance notice. There are other forums (specifically TDI club.com) where there are folks who can get ELF products (now Total Quartz) meeting the M-B specs. Check with BleachedBora on TDIclub.com.

I have not found it anywhere on the internet for less than what my dealer sells it, $6. I have heard here that other dealers may not be that cheap. Even the link above comes to $9+ with shipping.

$6.95 at local dealer, and they usually overcharge for everything compared to the other MB dealer I've dealt with.
