the fog lights are similar to the Audi's and rear exhaust is more integrated to the body, the exterior color looks new like a chocolate or mocha color...like my wife said, "its gorgeous"

Gosh. I think I have a bad case of "appearance package envy".

I like the new headrests they included with the FL GL. Very S600-like. Overall, I like the face lift a lot.

Mourning the demise of foglights, but unfortunately 99% are using them in conjunction with headlights in all--not just inclement--conditions, so Mercedes appears going with flow.

LED DRLs also appearing on new E-class and facelifted S-class.

Front end looks more generic, but back end looks great! I still prefer the look of our '09, but definitely want a set of those LED taillights.

This is a european model with the additional off-road adjustments as indicated by the controls below the heated/cooled seats buttons. I feel the same way about ventilated seats...it is the ONLY option that I wanted that was unavailable on our model in the US. It is available in euro-spec GL's, as well as the US GL550 so when I tried to convince MBUSA by email to include this option with our ordered GL (since they are all built on the same production line and it would take minimal effort to add this option to our GL), they simply responded with an elaborate "no". I guess I should be glad that they even gave us ADS on the '09 model.

Love the ventilated seats on the w211...

Really like the new look, front and back. Wonder what the 550 will look like and if MBUSA will offer Distronic?

Those looking for ventilated seats, I wouldn't put too much stock in these marketing pics

Anyone else notice the Black wood? Looks sweet.

I don't like the looks of the new command system. It is probably 10,000% better in terms of functionality but it just looks cheap with the exposed CD slot.

Ventilated seats would be awesome!!!!!! I also like the front LED's vs the foglights.

I still can't get used to the RSE. It just looks as if it was an afterthought. I can hear them now....Vee forgot to puut de reer seet entertainment ennn.

It is WAY more functional. The similar system is in my C350 and I love it. I believe the system in the GL will be hard drive based as well, which means you can rip CDs to the car, etc.

COMAND in our '09 is FAR superior to the one in our '05 w211 and my aunt's '08 ML550. I actually prefer it to most of the Japanese systems, though I wish we had the knob instead of buttons on the GL.

Yah, totally agree bout the new Nav units. Had an 07 ML500, now have a 09 ML550.

It now finds Starbucks for me!

Love the new Led DRLs. Like the S-class, much better implementation here than on the new E, which look aftermarket and gimmicky to me.

But with the ongoing news of struggling Starbucks continuing to close stores weekly , I hope it doesn't send you on too many wild goose chases in unfamiliar areas !

Yes it does.

If they're doing it like they're doing the new E-class, this double-round system is for "cheap" versions and the LED strips are for more expensive versions (or optional).

Again, IMHO it's sad to see Mercedes going for "styling" DRLs.
