Washed car - new pics of mods
In MA, the summer has been crazy with the rain - but today it brightened up a bit to be able to wash the car! I bought my 07 GL450 back in Feb and have been slowly putting mods onto the car (have done them all myself)....
Here's the list of things so far....OEM running boards, chrome hood fins, 20" Brabus replica wheels with Yoko Parada 295/45 tires, rear chrome bumper step, Vizualogic rear DVD with sound connected to AUX with AASS switch for IPOD, AMG pedals..

Nice.... wheels look nice also. Just need to put some tire dressing and do I see this correctly? No front skid plate?
BTW, you haven't answered my question in the other thread
Did you install the Vizualogic yourself? If so, was it easy?

Zoink - There is a front skid plate..maybe bad lighting but the car came with the appearance package to start off with.
As for the Vizualogic, its a relatively easy install...obviously depends on how experienced you are...but basically I put the brain in the passenger seat behind the back cover...the wires run up to each monitor through the seat....you need to put the wire under the carpet to the drivers side seat and monitor. As for the power, you just need to hook up three wires...a constant power, an acc power, and a ground. I hooked them up to the fuse box by playing around with which get constant power vs only when the car is on.
For the sound, you can do a direct connection to the aux (just RCA cabled running up the center console) or you can just do the FM thing. I did the FM thing first but found it not OK in certain areas (it got static)...so then I went to the other route with the direct connect.
Upside the the Vizualogic is that the DVDs get put in right in the top of the monitor (easier to do while driving) - and comes with wireless headsets. My little ones are only 3 and 1 so they haven't gotten to the point where they can operate themselves, but I'm sure it will come in handy one of these days.
Hope this answers your questions.

Beautiful pics of a great ride. Looks just like with all the mods except I still don't have running boards.
Where did you get that plastic cover for the back of the passenger seat? My 3 year old loves to kick the heck out of my seat.

Give the guy a call and tell him you want 4 of the same wheels...20x10. Hopefully he'll break a set up like he did for me!

I noticed he has these as well....I'm not sure about 22's though. Wish they were 21's like the 550. What do you guys think about these?

With this being my wife's primary car, I need this for the whole back seat and front seat covers...LOL....nothing like french fries, goldfish, etc all broken up in the back seat and on the back seat floor....I hate seeing this beautiful rig all "restaurant floored" out...lol...

I did reuse the TPMS sensors from the stock wheels. Ordered the wheels and tires seperately - just took the wheels to towne fair tire and bought wheels and they did the swap. Also needed to buy shorter lugnuts for the wheels.
