GL Seat belts
In my GL, I have the seatbelt adjustment on via the instrument cluster settings menu. Whenever I sit in the drivers seat, the tug on the seat belt is nice to make the seatbelt tighten. However, in the passenger seat, the motor is not as strong so the seat belt barely pulls compared to the drivers seat. Would this be covered under warranty? I feel as if the motor is broken or something since I don't feel a tug in the seatbelt whenever I sit in the seat and buckle up. Thanks so much in advanced!

Newer feature - the 2010 E63s have it too (with many other models, I'd assume). After buckling the seatbelt, an auto tensioner snugs the belt a little bit. Very cool feature - right up there with the AMG active front seats that inflate one of the side bolsters as you go around a corner.

Yes, it's a feature on the 2010 models and above ( atleast most). Justthebest, if you have it, does it work on the passenger side as well?

I have them on my '10.
I asked my wife if she noticed the feature in the passenger seat, and she said "huh" and kind of gave me a blank look
I guess I really ought to side on the passenger side & check for myself.
Nice feature, BTW

2010 GL 350 Bluetec
I have it on my 2010 GL 350 and my wife actually noticed it on her side as well so I would say both front seats should have it. I think it only takes out the slack in the belt and is not supposed to pull you back. The force it takes probably depends on how much slack is on the belt and whether or not you are leaning forward. It is a perception thing. If you suspect a problem take it to the dealer.
