picking up 2011 gl450 tonight
Turning in 2008 GL450 off lease 3 months early (loyalty pull ahead) It has only 21,400 miles and is like new condition (sand beige, cashmere interior). If anyone is interested pm me and I'll tell you which dealer has it and who to talk to. Picking up 2011 GL450 at dealer tonight. Capri blue, Cashmere m-tex interior with premium 1, hitch, 3 zone, parktronic, leather/wood sw and running boards. Good time to deal, end of month. For my wife and she's excited.

New 2011
For those of you who asked for pictures, we picked up the car today and just when I was going to take them, rain and more rain. I'll try to get them posted tomorrow, weather permitting.
Some of you asked for the differences between 2010 and 2011. The outside mirrors are bigger and the turn signal lights in them are much better. The headrests in the second row are bigger but are no problem and look good. Also, there are daylight running lights and separate fog lights. There may be other differences but I haven't had time to see what they are.
As to the deal on got, I think it was pretty good.
MSRP $71, 885
Cap Cost $66,208
Monthly payment $985.01
Amount Down $1485.00 (this includes first month payment plus $500.00) (they absorbed $418.86 of what was actually due for total amount down above what I actually paid)
10,000 miles per year, 3 year lease
Residual at 61%
money factor .00280
I could not get a deal like this from other dealers for a 2010. The closest was $985.00 per month and about $2,400 down. In addition, that 2010 had an MSRP of $69,105.

Yes we pay sales tax at 6% on payments. The numbers I provided in an earlier post included sales tax.
I would like to provide pictures of the 2011 but I've tried twice on two different computers and I get an error code saying I'm missing some security item. I emailed the webmaster after the first failure and he said to try another computer, which I've done. I emailed him back again and haven't heard anything more.

Really, really helpful, Stu. Our experience is the same in trying to decide between a 2010 and 2011 GL350. The residual really makes a difference when leasing. Wondering if we should buy a 2010 if they'll deal better, but would love to have the Blind Spot Assist.

Last week, I bought a 2011 GL450 black/black with appearance package, P1, blind-spot assist, parktronics, and must say it is a great ride. The blind spot assist is a must-have in my opinion.
