Power steering fluid leak

I have a 2008 GL320 CDI that has developed a power steering fluid leak. The dealer who normally has an excellent service department is taking their sweet time trying to figure out where it is coming from. They think it is coming from the cooling line but it might also have a leak in the power steering rack. Anybody had a similiar issue. I have owned this vehicle since day one, and it has been problem free.

I have the same model and there was a small leak from the power steering rack which was fixed under warranty last week.

I had the same leak and the dealer changed the whole rack and pinion under either a service bulletin or recall.

Mine has been in the shop for a week and I'm supposed to pick it up today. I took it in because of a groaning noise in the power steering and they ended up replacing the rack and pump. While they were in there they also found a fuel line leak and a leak coming from a crack in a "secondary" oil pan. They had to remove the transmission to replace this pan.

I'm quite pleased to have all of this done under warranty because the current mileage is 49,455 but a little troubled that it has all of these problems at such low mileage.

I've got a slow drip going under my car, and it looks like it is coming from the rack. The warranty is going to get another workout.

Squeeze one of the boots on the steering. Mine was full of power steering fluid.
