Im ING and also fresh to benz. Im from toronto and i use to drive an 06 Lexus GS300AWD that i stanced out. After awhile i switched up my mind set and decided to join the darkside and got my self a 07 GL450 and this is how my progess looks like now with it.

I sprayed it my self with some industry paint that can peel off.

if you look at pic number 3 on my first post you could see my plate is on my window cause i just painted it. Heres another pic, lmk if you need more proof.

I think it looks bad a$$. While I would not paint my GL I think it gives your a "special ops" look. I always wanted to paint a Land Rover Defender 110 matte black.

This is cracking me up - this is how I feel about all the blingy chrome crap so many people here have slathered all over their GLs.

This poor guy is proud of how he personalized his ride. It's not what you guys would do, or what I would do either for that matter, but let's cut him some slack. It's in the same spirit as HID conversions, chrome hood fins, and $4K sets of forged rims.

To be honest i could care less cause i'm probably the youngest GL owner on here(21) that actually bring his car to shows and sets my self aside from all other old geezers on here from plain old chrome trim and rims.

front wheels on lex was pushed out 25mm just couldnt find a good pic before i posted it.

Theres nothing to get butt hurt over cause at the end of the day i'm still a young business man thats pushing a benzo that turn heads.

I'm a fan of matte black, just not rattlecanned. Reminds me of what my matchbox cars looked like as a kid when I colored them with a black marker.

Ok I confess, we're just ribbing you a little, just like uncle dccha said. All is good as long you think your GL looks sharp.

i might consider wrap in the future but for now i got suppliers who's hooking up products. GL look better in person but i guess in this pic it looks off.

it looks off in pic but in person it looks normal. i guess its the angle its in + low quality cam makes it look "match box like"
