Finally joined the dark side :)
Hey MBforums,
Im ING and also fresh to benz. Im from toronto and i use to drive an 06 Lexus GS300AWD that i stanced out. After awhile i switched up my mind set and decided to join the darkside and got my self a 07 GL450 and this is how my progess looks like now with it.

I think it looks bad a$$. While I would not paint my GL I think it gives your a "special ops" look. I always wanted to paint a Land Rover Defender 110 matte black.

2011 GL350 Bluetec, Irridium over Black Leather
This is cracking me up - this is how I feel about all the blingy chrome crap so many people here have slathered all over their GLs.
This poor guy is proud of how he personalized his ride. It's not what you guys would do, or what I would do either for that matter, but let's cut him some slack. It's in the same spirit as HID conversions, chrome hood fins, and $4K sets of forged rims.

I'm a fan of matte black, just not rattlecanned. Reminds me of what my matchbox cars looked like as a kid when I colored them with a black marker.

it looks off in pic but in person it looks normal. i guess its the angle its in + low quality cam makes it look "match box like"
