No GL350 on MBUSA website ..why ?

Hello all.

I was just browsing MBUSA website and went on GL page - there is no ability to select/build GL350 BlueTec. The only models available are GL450 and GL550.
Does anybody know or have any idea why ??

Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing! I know ever since they put the 2012 GL's on their website, they haven't had the 2012 GL350.

Yeah, looks like they have *tried* to completely remove references to the 350. They oversaw one picture, though...

GL350
For whatever reason the MBUSA site doesn't show the 2012 GL350 as an available vehicle however Edmunds does. I ordered a 2012 GL350 in May and I have been advised I should have the vehicle in September or early October. The 2012 is a bit less expensive this year by a couple of hundred dollars because the LED parking lights are standard so the lighting package option reflects the difference. I am unsure when Mercedes is going to begin building the 2012's but I would like to hear from others who may have this information.
By the way, Pleasanton Mercedes California is an awesome dealership with the best pricing in Northern California. See Michael Poole at michael.poole@mbofpleasanton.com or in person. Awesome saleman without the typical hardball presentation.

Certification delay on the 2012 GL 350s. Should be released late September/early October.

Does that imply a drivetrain change to the new uprated diesel that's in the ML?

Absolutely not. Powertrain is unchanged for MY12.
