Suggestions for MATS for 3rd row seat?
I purchased a cpo '09 GL450 for my wife the other week and noticed that there are no car mats for the 3rd row seat. Not sure if they came stock or not.
Can you suggest a place where I can pick up mats for this third row?
My daughter and her friends can get messy so this is a high priority item!

Not sure if it matters, but it's a black interior '09.
TIA!
Pete

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
We live in SoCal most of the time and spend a decent amount of time in Park City, UT in the winter with the GL and our three hounds, so protection from all the elements are key for us.
We ended up with the WeatherTech DigiFits for the 1st and 2nd row. The 1st rows give the best protection we tested, but we still get a little bit of salt on the carpet now and again in the winter. Don't let the detailer grease these puppies down to make 'em look pretty unless you want to fly across the console. They get slick.
We selected the 2nd row Digi's because it gives middle seat protection all the way across the row. Other mats expose the middle area behind the armrest.
We selected the regular WeatherTech's and NOT the Digi for the 3rd row for one simple reason - the Digi offers no entrance protection. There's a space of exposed carpet that one must step onto to get into the 3rd row seats. The Digi's don't cover that area. The regular WeatherTechs have a little arm that covers that area and give good protection for each seat.
For cargo, we ordered the Digi, but returned it. What if you unexpectedly have two extra passengers? Where are you going to ditch that Cargoliner? It certainly doesn't roll into our cargo box on the roof. Also, you don't get total cargo protection if you put the 2nd row seats down.
So instead, we went with the Canvasback nylon cargo liner which also offers optional protection for the rear gate. You can put the 3rd row seats up and down AND bonus...you have protection for the entire cargo area if you put the 2nd row down for cargo. It's a great anti dog hair option and groceries doesn't go screaming across the cargo area when I decide to corner the GL like its on rails.
Hope that helps.
