SixPak was looking for more details on my new wheels...happy to oblige. I just picked it up last Friday (Sep 23).
The standard Avantgarde Edition package comes pretty much fully loaded (only additional options are a Premium Seating Package, Distronic and Rear Entertainment system...everthing else is STANDARD!!)
Some of the stadard options include Keyless GO, aluminum running boards, 21" AMG wheels, Harmon-Kardon surround sound system, rearview camera, etc, etc.)
I ordered Palladium Silver with Cashmere Beige artico leather seats.

Congrats on your new GL, Grovr1
!! You have the distinction of owning the first '12 350 on this board. Palladium silver is such a beautiful colour and that's a heck of a deal with the Avangarde Pkg and all those std features, especially the 21" AMG wheels (sports pkg). ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
When you a chance please post a couple of pics of the Cashmere beige interior. Sorry if I'm asking too much

The tires are Continental Cross Contact UHP, classified as summer performance tires, however, they have the "M-S" marking, which normally indicates some all season capabilities (mud and snow).

Looks good. Tires are a ***** to find up here, though. I would also take any M+S markings on those things with a huge grain of 401 road salt.

I asked Grovr1, because I am in MN and use a second set of 18" wheels with Blizzacks for winter - might be something for you to consider if snow/ice is of a plenty where you live. The Blizzacks are incredible with the GL. The rig is heavy and without decent grip - it's a slider! Enjoy your truck - I really enjoy mine!

Grovr, How long did it take to ship to you after the intial build date you were given?
I'm curious to see how you rate those tires on Snow. You will get it way before we do in Vancouver. Mine is being built next week.
Thanks.

Thanks...the colour combination looks even better than I'd imagined. My wife and I knew we wanted to have the Cashmere beige interior, but didn't want a black or white exterior...the Palladium silver seemed to be the best fit. As it turns out, it looks terrific!

I wanted the Cashmere beige interior but couldn't get it at the time with the Palladium Silver combo. I ended up with the Alpacca Grey Artico, nice but hard to keep clean.
