Pretty quick for an SUV. 14.87 @ 93 mph and a 2.23 60 ft. Have to work on launch rpm and see if any of the other mods cut down on the damn torque management. Lined up next to an E55 on the first run. hehe

Best time of the year to be at HRP with an AWD vehicle. I think that's about right on what the magazines have tested it.

How did the E55 run?

There were 6-7 E55`s at the track and most were near stock or lightly moded.. The E in the picture was his first time to thetrack and he ran a 12.0 but spun bad on street tires. Otehrs E55`s ran 11.3 to 11.7 range.

Amazing! Just what I thought our stock GL450s would trap! You may actually be the very first member here who even tried to go out to a dragstrip with any Mercedes GL. You have a timeslip? Now THAT'S proof that these SUVs are NOT slow whatsoever.

Btw, yours look super identical to mine except that mine is the yellow sandstone granite color.

Sorry for the bump, but did you shift the car manually for the optimum acceleration and trap speed or did you just floor it from the get go? (To OP exotic metal)
