Anyone on 20" tires using this size instead of the 275/50R20 standard size? There are a lot more options available.

Speedo will be off but that's not a huge deal.

I've been using 285/50-20 for a year now and not a single problem.
Thanks, Your GL looks Great!
Michelin is the brand and Latitude Tour HP is the pattern.

I have been using 275/55R20 for about a year and no issues. This tire is about 1/2inch bigger in diameter than standard. A lot more choices and cheaper selection.

ExploreUpdate: I have been running the 285/50R20 Bridgestone Dueler Alenza/ plus for 5 years on my 2011 GL450 with no issues, now at 180,000 miles. Well, except one. When the air line ejected from the air suspension pump the whole front end went down on the bump stops. I think the tires rubbed a little but there was no tire damage.

After 6 years on the above mentioned 285/50-20 Michelin Latitude Tour HP with zero problems, the truck is with a new owner and new Michelin Defender LTX in same size with again zero problems. Great tire btw.

Is there any rubbing on full lock with the 275 55 20 or 285 50 20?
