Question 2007 GL450 Starting Issue

I have a 2007 GL450 and have been having a starting issue all of a sudden. I thought it might be a fuel pump issue and had that replaced. Still happening. I got a code for Cam sensors and had those replaced. It still doing it. I also got a code for Secondary air pump and it is working fine. No more codes but it still has issues starting if it sets for an hour or more and cools off. if the car is hot and does not get shut off for more than 15-20 minutes, it is fine and starts easily. It will start eventually and runs great once it starts but just the starting issue. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there anything besides the fuel pump that would cause fuel pressure to lower when the engine is cooling? It is now loosing fuel pressure once the engine is turned off for more than an hour. does anyone know what could be causing the fuel pressure loss?

I am sorry you are having a "starting issue".
what exactly happens when you try to start. Best if you could write it step by step. like if ignition doesnt turn on, starter doesnt crank or engine doesnt start or starts but dies due to loss of fuel pressure ?

If starting the engine when cool. I turn the key and when the starter engages and turns the engine over, it just continues to turn over without starting. I have had times when it will start if you just turn the ignition key on for a couple minutes and let it set before starting.
As stated above, I have had the Cam Sensors changed along with the fuel pump and it still does the same thing. I have had the fuel pressure tested and they stated that it reduces after the engine is turned off for a period of time. After the engine is running, it has no problem with acceleration or does not seems to be starving for gas. If it is shut off after running, it will start right back up with no problem unless you let it set for a period with the engine off. This happened all of a sudden.

It seems like a clogged fuel filter would result in fuel starvation when running at higher rpms or under greater load.

This sounds more like the check valve is allowing pressurized fuel to drain back into the tank. Or the pump is getting weak.

Does it get adequate fuel pressure if you leave the ignition switch in Run position for a bit before starting? When my fuel pump died, I could get brief running if I left the ignition on for a bit before starting.

The fuel pump is a known failure item. I wish I had changed mine on a preventive basis, because it inconveniently failed at ~160k miles. It is not a difficult swap in a home garage; just tedious and nerve wracking.
