OEM Camera with Afternarket Radio

I’m installing an aftermarket pioneer nex radio and the installer is saying there is no way to use the OEM camera with the aftermarket radio. It seems like there should be a simple solution for this.

Does any body body have any insight into what’s needed?

I would think that there would be a simple adapter like that which comes with the AVIN units

You may be right, I was looking around and I didn't find any but, I'm sure there has to be something that plugs into the aftermarket's socket and also connects to the OEM wire. There has to be. Crutchfield is a no go. Have you reached out to Pioneer? What type of plug is on the rear of the aftermarket radio? Search for a Farka plug with that other type of end? It's worth a shot.
Apparently, it can be done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wC6RXt6Dzo

There is a Fakra to RCA video adapter available. Here's a link to the post I made last week about an aftermarket radio install: https://mbworld.org/forums/gl-class-...ml#post7618657

Looks like there is a yellow RCA input for the rear camera, so I'd assume the adapter will work. The adapter isn't vendor specific - supposed to work with any receiver that has an rca input...
