No start. No fuel. No power at fuel pump. 2007 GL450

Hi, all

This morning my 2007 GL450 refused to start. It seems that I have left my radio on and it drained the battery. I have tried to jump-start my car from my other car.

Engine is cranking, but it does not start. I have checked and there is no fuel at fuel rail. I have confirmed that my fuse is good as well as the fuel pump relay. Before leaving for work I have pulled the battery and set it to charge.

After work I have checked all fuses and opened the right fuel pump access door. There is no power at fuel pump terminals when key is turned on. I have confirmed with DAS that the key is recognized and that all authorizations are on.

Any suggestions what my next steps should be?

Replace the main and auxiliary batteries.

Car still does not start with both new batteries. There is still no fuel at the fuel rail.

Read the codes, or have them read. Best is to use a Xentry/DAS system.

Unfortunately there are no error codes.

The pumps do die around the 10 to 11 year mark.

I have StAR SDS system to check for errors.

Problem is not with fuel pump itself. There is no 12v on the fuel pump connector when ignition is on.

I am beginning to check fuel pump control module.

Do you think the fuel pump caused the control module to fail?

Fuel pump was dead. Replaced with a new one and engine started right away.

I was mistaken. My car was not built with FPCM, just a simple relay system.
