Hi there,
I recently replace my air spring suspension on all ends. It is raised all the way up but it won’t go to the low position even if I drive on the highway. Any idea of what is going on?

It is 2012 bluetec. Also, I took it for a test drive and In rear I can feel every single bump, it almost feel like there is something loose in the back. I used arnott products and followed their directions closely.

You have an X164 GL and posted in the wrong section. With that said, you can try pulling the airmatic compressor fuse while the car is running and reinstall. It may fix your issue.
Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion, but it did not work. Any other ideas?

Check to see if your ride height sensors move. They may be stuck or disconnected.
BlownV8,
A little update on my progress, I was able to get a my body to scan my system for errors and it came back with " component 'A9/1y1 (Airmatic pressure release valve)' incorrectly functions". I looked up the component and it appears to be a part of the compressor. Any insight would be helpful, thanks in advance..

As far as I know, the airmatic valves are separated from the compressor. It is a retangular box above the compressor but to reach it, you have to remove the compressor.

Have you tried pulling the compressor relay under the hood while the car is running and plug back in?

When you scanned the airmatic system did you see the voltages for each corner level sensor? They should be reading between 2.0 and 2.9v. If one sensor reads below 2.0v then the car does not have enough info to maintain the height, so locks up. One of my rear sensors failed like this and the rear pumped up high and stayed there. Rock hard and dangerously bouncy... i used the ICarsoft MB-II to read the airmatic components. Also make sure those sensor levers (black plastic things about 3" long attached to the electronic sensor) are not soft and pliable- mine went soft and they then give bad voltages too.

Been following your thread. Any outcome since the last ;posting? I have the same issues. Rear bumpy and stuck high. Can lower manually to some extent.
Also do not hear the compressor release once vehicle turned off.
thanks for any comments.
