The front of my 2012 GL450 seemed low this morning but came back up when I started the car. Drove the 70 miles to work and all is good. Then it was low again when I got in it to drive home. Made it home so I figured I would pop the hood and see if I can hear any leaks so I turned it off poped the hood and listened. After about a minute I heard the relays clicking and the front lowered then they clicked again and raised it back to normal. I have never seen it do this before after it is turned off. Is this normal?

You have a leak somewhere, go find it. Probably front bags. Search the forum on best DIY methods.
the relays and air movement noises are normal and triggered by you opening the driver side front door.

Max is right. It will happen again, You've been fortunate that the leaky bag(s) have folded in such a way to cover the puncture so air does not escape. You might be fortunate that this happens all the time from now on till the puncture is large enough that it will leak constantly. Or you may not be. The downside is your compressor will working harder while the puncture is present in the system to maintain pressure and will likely need to be replaced as well, which is an added cost to fix the intermittent problem you have now. I would spray soapy water on the bags, drive the car around the neighbourhood with raised/lowered settings and look for bubbles forming continuously. Another way, not very sure fire, but it has worked for me, is to monitor which side is lower. That will likely give you a hint about which bag is bad. It would be a good idea to replace both sides, though, as the other will follow suite.

Drove around, raised and lowered it several times, and after 2 days of sitting, it is still up. Hopefully it was only some kind of glitch, we shall see.
