2012 GL 450 Bottom Seat Cover Replacement
Hello All,
I have a 2012 GL450 I am looking to replace the bottom seat cover. The video that the company provided me is from a Mercedes however the seat is not like mine. There are two bolts have to be removed and the entire bottom seat just lifts out. On my seat bottom the power seat control panel must be removed. Does anyone have instructions how that can be done?
This is the type of seat I have in my truck.

When I bought my GL 450 in 2014 the dealer had change my seat because there were marks. I remember they had ordered it from Germany. From what I remember it’s pretty easy just pops out and then they just put it back in and re-hook up some wires

It would appear to be held in place with nothing more than a few (5?) clips. You'll probably need to get something under the clip to pry it upwards, then pull on the trim to get it out. Be warned, you'll likely break at least one of the clips attempting this.
Posting one image here for the record, but refer to this ebay link for the original image and others.

I was able to get the seat cover replaced and reinstalled. Here is a link to a video that I was very helpful and notes on the things that I had to figure out. I hope this helps someone.
