Airmatic Compressor Question '11 GL450

Can the airmatic compressor pump up 3 out of the 4 airbags? I have replaced my right rear airbag twice within the past month and it doesn't inflate that corner only. Are there separate fuses for each wheel or corner of the car? When I press the raise suspension button all except r-rear inflate and sometimes it gives me a "level selection not permitted" error (see pic). This issue is totally jacking up my ABS and traction control in the L-front (I replaced that speed sensor, no change).
My next step is to replace the ride height leveling sensor in that corner, but is there a way to test it first? Any help is appreciated.

Correct. You cannot raise the vehicle going over 40 mph.

Also, if the vehicle is in the raised positions, the vehicle will also automatically return to normal ride hide when you travel at 40 mph or above for a short time.

Went over 30 to get the warning.

I went over 30 to get the warning light. Sometimes it does it sitting still.

I would guess you either have a failed valve on the valve block or the control module has been compromised. Although if the latter, it more likely would not work at all.

yeah, you can’t raise the vehicle over 30 so that is normal. But if the right rear isn’t coming off when it does race under 30 if then you may have a failed level sensor there, or a clogged orifice in the valve body to that wheel.

it isn’t the compressor that raises the vehicle. That is done by stored air pressure in the central Reservoir, which is being redirected by the valve block to each individual wheel that needs it. All the compressor does is replenish the central, Reservoir through a connection in the valve block when commanded to do so.

Eric now is the time for your awesome diagram.

The valves on the valve block are electrically activated. If you raise three corners but not the fourth, in all likelihood either that valve, or the control module, has failed.

If you have a bidirectional scan tool, such as Autel MP808 or MB STAR you issue a command to read the individual component pressures; the system does this by actuating one of the valves, which you hear as a click.

point of order, the line from the filter to the compressor is more of a gentle arc, following the curvature of the wheel well.

Hahaha that's what I love about doing things in Paint. The crudity invokes a sort of Art Brut paradoxical elegance.
