Cool 18 Inch Rims

Hello, I'm wondering if 18 inch rims will fit my on 2007 GL450. I'm looking to build a overlanding build similar to those Porsche Cayenne's. Thank you very much.

Offhand, I don't know... but how much clearance do you have between the brakes and the rim with your current wheels? That should tell you.

Yes they will, in fact they were original equipment. I am of course speaking of the MB OEM 18 inch wheels, with aftermarket wheels your luck may vary, depending upon offset width, center bore etc…

You can probably find some on eBay. The tire size should be 265/60-18

Did someone somewhere say that 17 inch rims from the ML also fit?

They do, if you don't have the upgrade brake package.

The GLs in AU that came with 19" have a larger caliper and will not fit the 18" rim. I know this as I have changed my rotors and calipers to fit the 18" rim.

If you don't mind me asking, how big is the rotors that you have currently? Can you measure and take a picture of it? To ensure accuracy. Thank you!

Upgraded brakes have a 375mm rotor. The caliper is also different and will not fit the factor 18" rim.

Regular rotor is 350mm, and this fits a 18" rim.
