Just picked up the new GL450 blk/blk lease details inside
Blk/blk
Appearance package
P2
Lightening package
$750 month
$2600 down
7500 miles yr
36mo lease
I got $3000 off , corporate discount.. Is this a good deal?!?
Will post pics soon! Glad to join the GL family. I gave up my 2010 E550, kids getting bigger.

What was the MSRP? Money Factor?
Looking at it, ballparking the options that seems like a really good deal compared to what I am seeing...

in any case, the only thing it changes is the residual value %. the rest stays the same. and usually, the incremental cost is very small. it's like buying a soda. a small 16 oz will cost you $1.50, medium 20 oz $1.60 and large 32 oz $1.70.
so the same goes with leases at the various mileage increments. the residual value from 12k to 15k usually is about 2%, so you are talking about paying a small amount per month more to tack on another 3,000 miles per year, or 9,000 over the life of the lease.
so i wouldn't expect you to see difference in monthly payment shift hundreds of dollars. it would be in the tens of dollars most likely.
so you might be able to get several thousand off MSRP on an audi, but then the residual may be so freakin low that your lease payment is still very high. that's why with leases you can't just focus on the price off sticker. the manufacturer residual is just as important. you can get a $90k porsche 911 coupe for less than $1000/mo for 24 months lease because the residual is in the 70's.

the residual on the GL450 is fair, pretty decent at this time (GL550's take another 6% hit i think). money factor is ok too, nothing special but not outrageous. but still, to get a low lease payment like that you are talking about a sizable discount off sticker.
Also, I think 8000 off is pretty good but not clear to me where that put you against invoice pricing.
I am in the north east with lease is about to expire I a couple of months. MBUSA does not have any incentives for current GL owners going to another GL! I find that very surprising and it shows lack of care on MB side but I might be wrong and not aware of what is really out there.
Any advice would help.
Thanks!
I assume an aggressive sales person would offer buying the 2011 GL 450 now especially it has only 10K miles and make a deal on a new lease. No rush as I enjoy my ride.
The focus now will be to find a good deal for a new 2014. Any good advice on a great dealer would be helpful.
