With more than 38 inches of legroom, the spacious 2nd-row seating offers generous space for three passengers. The seats recline to 10 positions or fold flat in seconds in a 60/40-split, for flexible cargo space as well. An EASY-ENTRY feature on both sides eases 3rd-row access from either the right or left rear door.
So I shouldn't have to pay the fee? The build though does show it as a selectable option for $400.

2. On the build, the Auburn/Black doesn't look two toned like it did in early leather picks. It's all the darker color (which I prefer). If anyone gets the MY14 GL550 in Auburn/Black, can you confirm?
Easy entry is included in all GLs in a manual lever. This is how it was in the X164. The manual lever did the same thing. The new X166 has the manual lever on both sides now.

The $400 option adds the POWER button to that function when folding (it is still manual to return it to the regular position). Although it is neat to watch in action, it's not worth the trade off on the car seat / fixed headrest issue.

Thank you for the explanation. You hit it with 'fun to watch' - but I agree with your overall assessment.

Has that been confirmed? The pictures on that other post do not show the headrest tilted even with the seat.

went in and order my 350 today, and SA wasn't sure so I decided to keep power entry off since I didn't want to deal with the headrest issue. It wasn't so bad to manually fold the seat.

The interior for the Auburn/Black in my GL is slightly darker on the part that surrounds the perforated leather. I think it looks really nice almost like it frames the seat. I suspect if you don't get the ventilated seats they are the same shade of leather.

Cookstar, unfortunately the headrest issue has not been fixed for 2014 because I just got one and it's terrible. Having dealer fix in the next week or so and install manual headrest, (so they say).

A gaggle of MB's
Tuck - what your dealer "meant" to say is that they can "unlock" the headrest from the motorized mechanism, so it will be your choice to manually lower/lift the headrest - or your choice to remove the headrest now that they are "unlocked". Make sure they give you the"locking parts" they remove, keep in a small baggie.

It's a little uncomfortable to order a car that we can't test drive first and the price isn't set.
I guess I don't understand the order process.
That's why you should get a lease return with all recalls addressed, 15% discount and you get to test drive.
