Change color of orange interior led lighting?
I thought I read somewhere on this forum that there are 3 color options for the interior ambient led lighting that is built into the door panels and dash. The current color is orange.
I can't seem to find anything about changing it in the manual.
Anybody?

In the lighting choices sub-menu, you can choose essentially Orange, White or Blue (Solar, Neutral or Polar). The specifics of how to accomplish this can be found on page 279 of the Owners Manual.

It's changed via the center console (pg 279 of the on-line manual)
Setting the ambient lighting color
1) Press the < or > button on the steering wheel to select the Sett. menu.
2) Press the up or down button to select the Lights submenu.
3) Press OK to confirm.
4) Press the up or down button to select the Ambient Light Color function.
5) Press Ok to confirm.
6) Press the up or down button to set the color to SOLAR, NEUTRAL or POLAR.
7) Press the OK button to save the setting.

I have a 2008 S550. would LOVE to have changed the color to blue or perhaps even see what red is like but it seems there was no choice in 08. Either way, the white light is lovely. Never had it before.

Can I revive a 2 year old thread, that was previously a revived 6 year old thread? 😝
has anyone figured out how to make their ambient light strips a little brighter? I know how to make the adjustment, but just feel 5 is still not bright enough? Would just like the blue a tad brighter… if do-able, please help. Thanks guys! Rick
