2019 Volvo XC90 Magic/Amber, '95 E320 Cabriolet Midnight,'14 GL350 Lunar/Almond was '07 GL320CDI
I have an Aug 20 build date-have been told may have before end of month. Still surprising that there is no certification process for diesels is year-they're usually delayed.

My dealer notified me that my GL350 was built as of 7/22 and headed to the Vehicle Prep Center (VPC). The vehicle has now cleared the VPC and shipped on 7/29. He suggested the vehicle would arrive at the dealership (in NH) within 2 weeks. Hope this helps...

Yesterday was the first time I've heard someone got their 2014 GL 350Has anyone else received theirs? My was built 7-27 but still no word on shipping from my dealer

I was expecting an early Aug build with a late Aug Delivery. The dealer called me on Friday Aug 8 to advise my car was at the dealer ready to be picked up. My surprise, no warning what so ever.
Please recall I ordered a 2013 in March which a month later was declined, so theoretically I should have been one of the first in line for a 2014.
I can happily report that the car was definitely worth waiting for. Very impressed so far.

I picked up my 2014 GL350 yesterday, SA sent me a pic coming off trailer - It's Here! Was a surprise early delivery. Apparently had 5 GLs on truck, one bluetec. 4 of the GLs were presold. I was told I have the 1st 2014 palladium silver GL sold by my dealer by the manager. Didn't get home till late, boy what a improvement from my 2012 GL350. Much quieter, softer ride, better acceleration. And the multicontour seats with massage are awesome. The satin ash wood looks great with black MB tex. I had the rear side airbags on my build sheet, but not listed on the window sticker, confirmed they were present by the airbag tag on side of 2nd row seats- I hope they are there...
Anyways will play with it more today, and post pics later.

2014 GL350 Palladium/BLK mbtex
Palladium looks very different in sunlight, and in dark looks almost like charcoal gray.
A few comments..
- the H-K sound system is far better than the H-K in my 2012 MB GL350
- Already got complaints from my 6 year old in booster, back of head hitting the headrest. May have to shift him to center. 4 year old not tall enough to complain yet...
- diesel is very quiet, hardly noticable inside, no more road sounds, as in older GL.
Can't seem to upload all pictures - since pics are 2-3MB, will try later.

I was offered $1,500 just to buy GL Bluetec and sell it to the guy, who exports them. Too bad my wife is MB maniac and I need to lease/buy MB every 2-3 years

Got mine on Aug 14, 2013... GL350 Palladium full loaded with AMG pack. Spent the last week at the dealer for a steering vibration problem. After many trial, the found that the problem come from the 21'' EOM Pirelli tires... Now they switch them for Continental Contisport Contact and the truck run much more better. Very smooth run, no road noise and more sporty. I hope I will not have any other issue! My previous truck, was a GL 320 2009
