My 2014 GL550 arrived yesterday however I cannot take delivery! Heres why. I am eligible to receive USAA discount however the USAA site has not yet uploaded the 2014 GL550 on their website which means I cannot print certificate for discount Any suggestions? I did go to the dealership to see the car it is awesome!

 

Did you call USAA..... I had a somewhat similar issue when I bought my 2013 and called USAA and they were able to help.....you want to ask for their "car buying service"

 

Let us know what you find out. Now that the online build is posted and therefore pricing published, I was hoping they would add it soon. You also want to use them for the loan rates you get by using their buying service.

 

The USAA system "update" monthly - usually about 6th or 7th of the month - by intention so that you receive "maximum available discount" for that delivery month.

On that same day - or sometimes a day later - the "updated USAA program" for that month is posted to MB dealers in NetStar.

Yes - you have to be able to print out the USAA Certificate for delivery to rceive that discount - because that certificate is required by both USAA and by MB.

Good tip to call USAA in the meantime.

For a 2014 GL550 for August delivery - interesting question - my "guess" the USAA amount will be like $1500 - but please come back and post your result.

I don't know of a dealer that can't meet or often beat by a hair USAA new car finace rates for a GL550.. good to know USAA rate with challenge to the dealer to meet/beat by a hair.

How were you able to print out the certificate ? I still don't see 2014 GL listed on the usaa website.

 

You don't need to see it......call USAA, they will help you out. The car purchase web info is maintained by a 3rd party and is slow to update.

 

Octurbo give USAA a call they will walk u thru the process. While you can't see it to build your car the certificate does show the discounts for the 2014 models.

 

2014 GL550 USAA for October "should be" $2K
