how to open rear quarter side vent windows
One feature that I found on my car that I didn't even know about was the heated cooled cupholders. I would have much rather been able to open the rear quarter windows than heat or cool my drink!!!!!
MB spent more money on stupid features like that and cheaped out on important features like ventilation. Frustrating.

More annoying is that when I asked the salesman when I picked up the car, he told me the button for the heated/cooled drink holder was just "ambiance lighting" to change between blue or red!!!!!!! Geez these guys just don't know their own product.

The rear quarter windows are controlled by a button on the lower driver's door, if you have that feature which apparently comes with Panoroof.
The cup holder cool/warm feature is a three way button that turns on a warm, cool or off feature. Ambient lighting in the recess of the holder turns blue for cool and red for warm, and yes the surrounding metal area will change temp accordingly. I tested it out, but it will only marginally affect your cups temp, it won't really cool anything down or warm it up, it might prolong the temp after you activate it.
The square spots are still there. So to casual onlookers MB hasn't cheapened out on anything.
