LOWERED my GL with MBCANSOLUTIONS handheld module
Lowered my family hauler (GL450) today with the same MBCANSOLUTIONS handheld module I used to lower my E43 in my previous post(https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post7424783). The results were equally as good! I went pretty conservative at F: 1 3/4" R: 2" as to preserve ride quality. Although, I must say that the overall look has completely changed, especially because you don't see a lot of these lowered! (note: this is a separate handheld module then my E43, each module can only be used for one car.)
The unit makes it so that you can adjust the ride height to whatever you want in mm's. Highly customizable and takes less than 30 seconds to apply.

I just love the look that gives! So I'm curious what impact this has on the ride height raise/lower function in the car - - do you ever even use that or just leave the car low?
Thx

2015 GL350
I got a jeep grand Cherokee Summit Eco Diesel that lower itself when I put it into park automatically. Then lifts itself up when the is in drive and speed increases.
This is something interesting as my parents have a hard time getting into the GL. I wouldn't want to lower then while driving but in park to get in and out of is a different question. Maybe ill ask the software designed if he can incorporate this into a patch.
by the way his ebay listing say or best offer, did you get it any cheaper then what he list it for?

How low will it allow the GL to go? I have a Yakima cargo box and wondering if I can use this to get in and out of the garage with cargo box attached...I need to be able to lower it by about 70mm to get it in the garage.

I'm going to buy the module on eBay to lower my gl350. Does lowering the vehicle cause any problems down the line for the car as In more wear on the suspension? I plan to keep this car for the long term and don't want to have trouble down the line to obtain a sportier look. Should I get a wheel alignment after lowering it?

Curious ... what compromised ride are peeps talking about? could you share details? ... I reasoned that lowering it would made the ride more "comfortable" ... lower wind drag, more stability being lower to the ground ... also, the eBay link has expired, does anyone have more details on this module? Thank You

You can set it to whatever height you desire and leave it there for as long as you want. I think the range is +40mm to -70mm.
FYI, I found a supplier in Belarus who sells them if anyone would like the link to his ebay listing.
