Buzzing noise in Electronic Hydraulic Control Unit when turning off engine
I’m a new owner of a 2016 GL450. When I turn off the engine, there is a buzzing noise from the electronic hydraulic control unit area (next to the ABS fluid tank). I'm not 100% sure if it's really comes from the the unit or somewhere underneath it. The noise will only last for a couple minutes. I don’t know if this is normal or something that needs to be concerns of. Appreciate for all the advises.

That seems excessively long, but my '15 GL550 makes all sorts of whirring and buzzing noises for a bit when I turn it off (or when I walk near it when it's off with the key in my pocket).

I think the whirring/buzzing noises when you approach the car with the key is normal because the car is communicating with the keyless go. However, the buzzing noise I have (around the ABS control module area) is only happened after turning off the engine after a ride. It lasts for about 3-5 minutes. I just wonder if this is a normal behavior or something that I need to take to a dealership to check out.
thanks everyone for advises.

Brought the car to dealership yesterday, and they said this is normal. They said it may take up to 10 mins depends on how hot the engine is. Not sure if they are telling a truth or not. Any owners out there have notice this buzzing noise at all?

Can't claim it is normal or even typical, but our 2015 GL550 is whistling, blowing or hissing whenever it is off. The air suspension goes first as it settles the suspension, then fans start blowing and there are miscellaneous noises most of the time ... even until the next day when we restart and the process repeats. Part of the problem is that the car is in an insulated garage that only parks one car so it is easy to hear every noise.
Whenever we open a door we hear a fan blowing, but it stops immediately. If we park with side windows open it is very obvious through the window opening. As it is almost its "fourth birthday" and we're still on the original battery it can't be too big a problem, right?
