Third row speakers are shot

Third row speakers are shot
My third row speakers are really bad they just make a humming cracking noise. I made a mistake on the front door speakers thinking the covers would just pop off and they were screwed from the back. Does anyone know of these covers will just pop off? And if not any instructions would be wonderful. See attached photo.

I just had the exact same issue on a newly purchased CPO 2017 GLS550. The dealer replaced those rear third row speakers that wasn’t the issue still a nasty buzz. They said it was the speaker grilles. They ordered new ones (backordered) but they actually just came in. The new grilles fixed the issue. My service advisor said the replacement doesn’t take long and just pop in.

If it helps anyone I replaced the rear speakers and the nose still continued. After a while I have come to the conclusion. During Bluetooth operation on your cell phone you cannot have the volume on your cell phone turned all the way up and try to turn the volume knob up higher on the radio. For some reason the Harmon system gets all out of whack and you get a high pitch horrible sound out of the rear. For best sound have your phone on half volume. Hope it saves someone a lot of time and money.

ha its funny reading this thread, I had the exact same issue when I purchased my 2015. Would notice it when listening to loud music. replaced speakers while I was under warranty and issue still persisted. MB doesn't want us rocking out in this vehicle.
