TPMS fault

2014 GL550, 105k miles.

dash warning that tire pressure needs to be adjusted on FR. However the pressure is what it should be, and is the same as the FL tire.

So the warning showing issue with FR pressure is not correct.

I don’t believe it to be the individual sensors, as the pressure for each wheel changes over the course of driving the car (tires heating up).

I presume that it is the TPMS module, but does anyone have any input?

thanks

jason

You need to reset the TPMS to clear the error. Mercedes-Benz E-Class: How to Reset Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) | Mbworld

case of "user error"...

yes, +1

Once you want adopt the pressure you like for your car, you set it once so the car will warn you about differences.
Now the message is warning you of such difference compared to what was saved last time...
