My wife left the sunroof open on our gl550, approximately one day later "after wet vacuuming the carpet of course", I get no power to the dash at all. It's like there's no battery inside only the battery is reading 12.5 volts. Any suggestions for me on what's next? Oh, and why is it that when I try and research info on the gl550, the only gl's that pull up are the 350 and 450???

Call insurance if you have comprehensive coverage. Let them deal with it as it is flooded.

You can try to scan the chassis to see if any helpful faults are reported.

Water is a serious enemy of unprotected electronics.... I can already volunteer your front door switch modules will need to get swap along with watever is located in central console between seats.

Luckily OEM parts are really cheap, used ones as well.

You just need to work out what is wrong.

Front footwell soaked area is where the VIP GND are located. These feed #1:ECU and #2:SAM ... they usually come painted from factory and now oxidized.

This was great advice…I’ll start this weekend taking the the interior out. Insurance wouldn’t cover it lol. Go figure

If you have comprehensive insurance, they absolutely should cover.

If you have an umbrella policy with vehicles under it then doubly do. Worth a call to the agent perhaps.
