Too many sub-forums IMO. The result being a spread of critical mass and no meaningful discussion generated. I guess that's why I rarely visit the site.

We worked very hard to get this sub forum. Although I don't disagree with you about too many, this is how the website is developed and designed: Based on class and trim. It is only logical to have the same for gl63. There are only a few owners so far and usually the initial threads start with technical and new discovery stuff for a new trim. I certainly take my 'less car-more social' topics to the c63 forum, where I have been for much longer and the other members are more inclined to discuss those types of topics. Give it time because the audience here is not yet developed. I don't see this sub to ever grow to that of c63' but it will hold its own in a year or so.

I still think that it should be merged with the ML63 ... just not enough GL63 hotrod guys out there.

Over a month since I posted my thoughts and almost nothing has been posted in this sub. You may have worked hard to get this sub but you get what you ask for--very little meaningful discussion and value added.

IMO, this whole board needs a complete overhaul. It's far too fragmented and severe consolidation of subs is in dire need. Again, I rarely visit anymore because of that.

I am not a moderator. What is your point? As I see in 7 years you have 77 posts. Respectfully, you can't really complain with this little contribution.
I am hoping with every model year a new set of owners join this group. This model came in very limited production and most owners are not the forum follower kind unless they have other MB's or amgs.
If it bothers you so much petition to remove the sub.

I think my point is pretty clear. Consolidating the subs would benefit the board in a major way because it's pretty clear the status quo isn't effective. Just a thought, but maybe one sub for AMG, one for sedans, one for SUVs etc.

My complaint isn't specific to this sub--it applies to the entire board. I came to this sub to get some info as I may be interested in the model but found a dearth of information.

I spend a fair amount of time on Ferrarichat and while it's by no means perfect, it's much better than this board IMO.

Like I said my friend, I am not a moderator. I can't combine the forums. I and a few others requested this as a group and forgot to look at our crystal ball. Instead of complaining ask the moderators. We are truely sorry that MBWorld board does not meet your expectations.
I also visit another board that has a more hard core enthusiast crowd. You can't expect the GL drivers to be as much into their cars as the Ferrari crowd.

How do you figure that by combining this and say ml AMG, you get more gl63 info that you wouldn't otherwise get by just visiting the ml AMG sub?
