Hey Guys,
Has anyone fitted up Supersprint Downpipes? Do I need to tune?
There are three options.

I did both the TCU and ECU tunes from Solomon -

Extremely happy -

I re-did my exhaust and added hi-flow air filters -

I laugh at myself for taking so long to do the tunes

because the difference is night and day -

I have no experience with SuperSprint but like the way it looks, esp. with no welds along the pipe at all compared to all the other brands so I put down an order for one through ECStuning with a 2+ month wait period.
Will see how it looks and performs when it arrived. A tune is needed unless you're ok with seeing a CEL.

Thanks so much guys for all the info. The ones I have also noticed available are the RENNtech ones and they are promoting their downpipes as not requiring a tune.

Went with Rado catless pipes on our 550 and tuned it. Removed resonator, added Hpipe and added elec cutouts too. Lots of turbo sound and can be super crazy loud with push of a button to open the cutouts.

2014 Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG
Rado catted downpipes are the only downpipes you can get that do not need a tune. Or if someone else uses GESI cats it would be fine.

renntech and supersprint both require tunes or else you will get a check engine light.

i have Rado catted downpipes, supersprint mid pipe and Brabus rear exhaust.
