Any GLA discounts? --Tell us about it.

I know that the GLA is a hot item but discounts are always around sooner or later. What have you found? Anybody tried Costco or other buying services?

GLA 45 AMG EDITION 1
Discounts lol!!!!

Winnipeg Mercedes Benz even after I told them I knew about the factor rebates which equalled to more than $6000 on a edition 1 gave me no discounts of any kind. I tried to deal in some winter tires and rims instead and was just turned down.
Knowing that there might be potential buyers in the future( but pretty sure there was none at the time) down the road and that this would be the only one in manitoba I signed over the full MSRP with a cheque from the bank which was just rounded off to the nearest dollar, and did not get any change back. So technically I paid over MSRP!
I was reassured that they would find tires and rims that would fit the Edition one and would be sold them at or near cost. Returned at a later date for something else but inquired about the tires and the cost jumped another grand. So if you put your faith in somebody for a deal and hand over a GREAT DEAL OF MONEY! Don't expect that deal will be there once you hand over your cash.
Wait I'm wrong I was given a back to the key fob with the AMG emblem ( which you would think came with the AMG car) and a leather key chain ( which I do appreciate) from the salesman.

NO discount dealer

Sorry to hear that your dealer has treated you so badly. Have never been to MB Winnipeg but have often visited as my wife is from your city. Personally I would buy any future cars from another city. I have bought from several dealer locations in other states. No problem getting service from my local dealer.

Most of the time I can buy locally but sometimes it is not possible. They have been very helpful when we can get together. Have even Special Ordered for me with only a hand shake & no paper work or $. I try to always to do business locally but sometimes it doesn't work. But in your situation just on general principles would go elsewhere ,if possible. Other options are only a short plane ride way.

Under MSRP in Indiana

I bought my GLA250 from Mike Raisor Imports in Lafayette, Indiana under MSRP. We settled on $750 over "invoice".

GLA-250
Hi all. New to MB and the forum. We had two deals on our recent purchase. The first was Invoice plus $250.00, and was negotiated over the phone at Holloway MB in Greenland, NH on any GLA-250 in stock. The second deal was the one we went with, at Prime Mercedes in Maine...and that ended up just about $1000.00 under invoice for a demo with 2800 miles...Multimedia, premium, pan roof, metallic paint, sport wheels and bi-zenon headlamps.

Prime picks up and delivers in a trailer for service...pretty nice deal when you live 2 hours from the dealer. Also bought the 4 year service and extended warranty. Don't think I got a deal on the service or warranty....but hard to negotiate those at the end.

Celt!

On edit, the over the phone deal was pitting one dealer against the other...we just didn't like anything available as well as the demo unit.

What is invoice on these cars ? Is there a post where people post invoice pricing on models and options ? Is it just a straight percentage discount / mark up ?

Just curious, thanks!

Mark up

My sales guy at Raisor Imports told me it was a straight 4.5% mark up.

Just helped my brother negotiate and picked up a new GLA from my MB dealer. Sticker $38,175, negotiated price $34,500, that's $3,675 under sticker.

We got a good deal, but it was a lease, so not quite the same. About $1200 off MSRP but with the lease rebates to dealer, etc I have no idea what the actual "real" off MSRP mean to MBUSA.

GLA250
that's about the same as i got - paid 37.8k for a 41.8k MSRP. i wasnt interested in having anything else than the panoramic roof and that basic "premium" package, but the dealer tried to sell me one with sport package, xenon headlights and the dreaded illuminated star. i told him i will give him $300 for the xenon headlights, but i dont want to pay for the rest of the crap, and he eventually made the deal. i was kind of surprised he did, but i have a feeling they can go way down.

GLA250 discounts

I ordered one to get the options I wanted. It came to $44K. I was surprised that I was able to settle on $42K, a full $2K off MSRP. I really didn't think they would deal on a special order. Delivered in 6 weeks, Porsche takes 6 months on an order! Now if I could just get used to that electric shifter...........RJ

This is what the dealer is offering:
MSRP: $42,845
Discount: $4,000
Adjusted Price: $38,845
Processing Fee: $299
Tax (6%) : $2,348.64
Tag and Title : $327
Final Price: $41,819.64

The car in question is a Mountain Grey 4matic with panorama roof, premium pkg, multimedia pkg, Bi-Xenon headlights, keyless-go, & wheel locks

Don't like the processing fee, but not sure it is a deal breaker.

I would be a buyer. $299 fee is low. Same fee around here is as high as $699. Go for it!.

Update. Another dealer had an identical car with blind spot assist instead of Bi-xenon headlights. Got it for $41,000 out the door, did it over the phone and they are delivering it to our house on Monday.
