GLB 35 Wheels

Has anyone upgraded or changed the wheels on their GLB 35? Mine came fully optioned as I wanted it except it has the 10 spoke 19” AMG wheels which I would like to upgrade.

I will be at the dealer next weekend. I will see what i can do to grab the part number. Based on what I found. it looks to be a straight exchange of the wheels. the tire sizes are different on the 19", 20" and 21".
I would assume the ride height will not change, but just the tires getting thinner on the side wall and a wider track.

Thanks! I actually was able to locate the part number from my sales manager, I am looking at the matte black exchange spoke wheels, part# 247-401-22-00-7x71. Looks like the wheels are 962.00 a piece.

Did you change them? How's the ride quality. The diameter is the same on 21's, just less tyre wall.

I have the base 18" I've always used OEM rims. If I go to 20s how do I re-calibrate the speedometer?

You don't need to calibrate as long as you keep your tire size same with thinner profiles to match 20's... You can check the different size and wheel combinations for GLB:

Hi OP,

I’ll be heading into the Dealership as well to get some guidance…. I currently have my GLB optioned with the 21” wheels. I also just bought some spacers (15mm) to get more widened look.

Im planning on asking the service team about fitment of the 21” amg cross-spokes that are found on the glc. Those bad boys are 9.5 wide, so hopefully I can get an answer back on how wide we can go on wheels without modifications

I have the stock 19" ones with the matte black accents on the spokes. They aren't the best looking but a little better than the standard ones. I'm just going to stick with them.

You speak the gospel friend!

I was looking at the HRE, and was debating between the P101s, or the R101s, but then I saw the 21” cross spokes from AMG… They’re sorta around the same price (around the $7-8k range). You make a point though, HRE could just make them 9 or 9.5 wide all around. Though, I don’t know which color to get! Im sort of thinking of polished or high gloss gunmetal? Something different from the black wheels.

The R101 is for cars that use smaller wheel diameter's (17"-19") and the P101 is for cars that use larger sizes (20" and up) so the P101 is the right wheel for you. As you already mentioned, the HRE's are custom built so you can order them in any width AND we can have them made with a lower wheel offset so that the wheels sit more flush with the body of the car. The cherry on the top is that the HRE's are both stronger & more lightweight than the Mercedes wheels due to the 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum that HRE uses for their forged wheels. If you need more information & help in order please let me know. We're HRE's largest dealer in the world so I can set you up with a deal.

Hi,
Sorry for interrupting the loop. I just want to see some images of your wheels after putting the 15mm spacers in. I'm planning to do the exact but it would be great to have your reviews and images before hand.

Thanks.

GLB35 with 255/40R20 winter tires + Mandrus wheels that are ET42. That is equivalent to 9mm spacers:

Swear to G, it is clean af. Thanks for the image, I think I know what I want now. Seems like 35 is underrated because not much people putting the mods on it. Looking forward for your next builds if you are planning to do anything awesome with it.

Thanks a lot. Here is my 35 at the moment.

Do you find it complicated to switch twice a year?

Never got around to in. Actually traded in the car for an EQE SUV a couple months ago.
