09-16-21 post has pictures of the fuse legend document. You can find it inside the fuse box.
Both battery and fuse box are located on the driver side under your front hood. Box with red tab is your battery. Ground is the brass nut to the right. Fuse box is to the right of the battery.

I found a small speaker (about 5cm across) in the footwell - if you lifted your foot up you would pretty much be on it.... I wonder if these are the speakers the sound comes out of?... there doesnt seem to be any sound from the audio system through them
If so it would be easier to just disconnect them.....
There are 3 fuse boxes. One under the hood, one behind a carpet in the passenger foot well, and one in the trunk. Although I am not sure of the exact location of trunk fuse box.
UK speck might be different. In US GLB250 does not have any speakers in the back unless you upgrade to Burmester system. Then you add stereo speakers behind second seat, subwoofer at the front row, and amplifier below trunk floor.

There are no speakers in footwell on US models. You might be referring to a subwoofer, but you would need to upgrade to Burmester in US to get it. Our standard set up is 6 speakers. (4 in doors and 2 in "A" pillar). Rest of the Speaker Covers are fake.
