Advice on improving performance
I'm picking up a Certified Preowned 2020 GLB 250 tomorrow and I'm thinking about adding a performance tuning chip. Any suggestions? This will be my wife's car and we're trading in her BMW 330i, so I'm looking for ways to give it a little more power. It was not an easy decision for her - she LOVES her BMW - but the truth is that the seats tend to wear her out on longer trips, and lately she finds herself needing the additional space/storage etc that an SUV offers. She loves the interior of the GLB - very modern, all digital LCD dash, much more comfortable seats, and she likes how it rides. But we have been married for over 20 years, and I know that deep down she is a little sad that she is losing the performance that her BMW has. If we could afford it we would just buy the AMG model, but its way out of our price range, so I am looking for ways to give the GLB a little more pep. I've read a lot about chip tuning and the opinions are pretty evenly split between "yes, it will improve performance and gas mileage" and "don't waste your money, they don't work".
So...any advice?

Hi,The GLB250 with 2.0L Turbo is an amazing vehicle. From tuning we typically see gains of +40Hp & +50Tq.
Features of the tune include:
- Increased Performance and Drivability
- Increased Boost Targets
- Fuel Adjustment
- Improved Throttle
- Top Speed Limiter removal
- Raised Torque Limits
- +$100 for added exhaust pops (regularly $200)
Stage 1 – Suits no modifications or aftermarket air-filter, cat back exhaust upgrade
Stage 2 – Suits downpipes and major exhaust modifications
During the 2021 End of Year Sale, the price for MB World Members is:
$600 - M260 250 2.0L i4 Turbo - Stage 1 or Stage 2 (regularly $795)
MED17.7.7 ECUs require ECU for tuning. Local install or ECU send in only. There is no OBD2 option available for this platform as yet.
Purchase also comes with free reflashes should the dealership write over your tuned settings.
Your tune will be saved in our database and is always 100% reversible. We have not ever had an issue with MB dealers and warranty.

Racechip (Germany) has tuning for GLB 250. I would expect it will work fine for US models
