GLB 250 4 matic
Angry New member, glad to be here. Have one problem.

Just purchased new 2023 GLB 250 4Matic. Owned a 2010 GLK 350 then a 2014 GLK 350. Owned something else but I am back. Only problem I have is I cannot get the E Z exit/entry to work. Salesman set it up to work but also went over all the other screens and screen settings. I was confused but figured I'd learn as I go. I did not notice if it worked when we were done going over vehicle. I noticed it not working late Saturday when I used it after picking it up Thursday. Today is Sunday, I'll go to dealer Monday or Tuesday and see salesman or Manager to see what I may be doing wrong. Memory seats work fine for two of us. Everything else seems good to go, just that E Z exit/entry.problem. Brand new car only had it 4 days. Read here a few reasons why it may not work, tried suggestions, but they did not work either. I looked in books and went to settings and it was on as salesman set it. I reset it to off then back on. Still nothing.
Update; The seat is working as designed. The car has E Z enter and exit but it is limited by the pillar. According to MB for safety sake (kids in back seat) the drivers seat does not move back "MUCH".They showed me it working but seat has to be pretty much forward to start with to work. Compared to my Ford F150 Lariat this Mercedes GLK 250 4Matic does not have a really functioning EZ entry and exit driver seat but I got what I paid for, it does work as designed. In my opinion. more design is sorely needed.

If you know how to turn it off/on and memory positions are working, it should work. The only setting that may affect it is the seat position — if you are tall and the seat is near the rearmost position, it will not move the seat. Visiting your dealer is a good idea.

As other stated, easy entry/exist feature will not move the seat passed "B" pillar for safety reasons (not limited to GLB). I had mine turned off, as it was moving seat forward vs. backward. Dealer updated the software, and it worked until next "over the air" update. So I just keep it off.

Thanks, it is working as designed. I did an update to my original post. It seems the seat movement is limited to center door post area.

Thanks for the reply, I did an update to my original post. It is working as designed. In my opinion it is lacking and needs to go back to the drawing board. My F150 has EZ entry/exit that works great, the MB is lacking in that regard.I'll just keep it off too.

Understand completely. My wife and I are short, so it’s not much of an issue. There’s a lot more room in the F150. It’s bigger in every dimension. My son-in-law (top weight class body builder) has an F350. When I use it, the EZ Exit moves the seat so far that I wonder when it’s going to stop. But it works fine for him.

I also have a 2023 GLB 250 and I thought I had the same issue until I realized you have to be very short (seat almost all the way forward) for it to work. They should have it designed for more range.
