GLC Configurator for United States is up!

In case anyone is interested, the configurator for the GLC is up on the Mercedes US web site:

http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicl.../bodystyle-SUV

As of this writing, Canadas website still doesn't have it.

Thanks for the post. You may note that P01 Premium Package MSRP is now $720. This is a change from August MB Dealer Ordering Guide. MSRP there is $ 1,850.

My wife is obsessed with this car. Interior looks as sharp as C-Class, but a little bigger. Not sure if that plays out when you sit in the car.

How about that matte brown? Surprisingly good looking!

I agree, it looks good. Though after seeing the $4k asking price and hearing negative things about matte automotive paint in general (it's more difficult to maintain) I think I'll pass!

Agreed - $4k asking price is too much for something that difficult to maintain. Especially here in Atlanta, I think the world capital of dings.

What I'm impressed by is generally you can get by and still get a great car and stay around $42k-43k. Not true for all MBs, and even the C - which I see most people on this forum driving off the lot for $50+k...not worth it IMO unless you go all out and get the 450 AMG or C63.

I wonder if the builder has some errors. It only lets you order the heated steering wheel with black leather. I don't see anything in the order guide about that??? Also - some other options that can not be combined in the builder, but no mention in the order guide.

The 0-60 times aren't filled in either. (They have X-es for placeholders.)

Errors? Or they're just not finished? Regardless, there's still several weeks before the GLC goes on sale, so they have time to fix these issues. I'm surprised they published the GLC stuff on their website in the state it's in though.

priced and packaged pretty identically to the C class. Really a toss up of which one you want.

The option of a red/black interior would've been nice. Maybe they'll introduce it as an option when they (supposedly / hopefully) introduce the GLC450 next year.

Am I missing something or is the only way to get LED headlights to go for the whole lighting package ($1300)? On the C you can get the static LEDs as part of the Premium 2 package without having to go all the way to the lighting package.

@LAC300: I had same thought. Last time I checked it added something stupid like $3-4k in extra required packages just for LED. But I think my wife wants the ambient lighting anyway. Ugh.

Did anyone in the states order one yet? Still expecting deliveries in November? I like what I see via web but still think I should test drive/see before ordering one.

Will this new GLC not be discounted due to it being a new model?

I spoke with a dealer salesperson around here in Atlanta she said they're built in Germany and heading over for dealership delivery in Nov. Wouldn't expect any discounts on this brand new model as it's an extremely popular segment. I'd expect it to mirror the W205 C class launch, maybe with a little less pomp.

If you order the Premium Package you must also, at a minimum, order heated seats ($580) and Blind Spot Assist ($550), bringing the total to $1850. Confusing huh?

Online configurator was updated this weekend, prices for options have changed slightly. Our "build" dropped roughly $700 compared to last week.
