There isn't much activity in this forum yet, but I suspect it will pick up soon as people start to learn and order the GLC. Let's keep track of our orders so we can inform each other how production and shipping is going for our builds.
I'll start:
Location: Orlando, Florida Ordered on: 10/20/2015 Production Start Date: 11/11/2015 Delivery estimate: "Sometime in December" Ship:
We are excited to have ordered our first MB coming from the BMW world. We are used to tracking our build on the BMW site, but have learned that MB does not have something similar and you have to rely in your dealer.
Looking forward to hearing about your builds and dates!

My Build:
GLC 250 4 MATIC
Polar White
18" 5 Spoke Wheels (R31)
Espresso Braun MB-Tex
Linden Wood
Heated Seats
Panorama Sunroof
Dynamic Led Lights with adaptive high beams
Interior Luxury Package
Exterior Luxury Package
Surprised folks were getting those 5-spoke wheels as the 20" multi-spoke are my personal favorite. But then I login to the configurator - and you have to drop $3+k for the Night Package to get them when the wheels are just a $750 option? Are they serious with that- can anyone that's placed an order confirm that?
Yes, you must have the night package to get the 20" black wheels. Unfortunately there's no other option available. They must have supply issues because the US configurator for multiple vehicles is BS. No heated steering wheel (black interior only), no ventilated seats (C450), no 20" wheels without major changes, etc.
Edit: The online configurator is correct, meaning the dealer can't make any additional changes that differ.

But the 20" wheels on the website aren't black. I don't even see any black wheels. Talking about the wheels in this picture:
Edit: That picture shows the black-accented wheels, look closely at the spokes.
Exactly, MB is pushing it here (misrepresenting the US spec). Even the order guide shows Euro spec pictures next to US spec vehicles. If you don't believe me here, go check MotoMan's GLC300 review on youtube where his car is actually "custom-made" for review purposes (US model with Euro wheels). IDK why it's like this but it is.
Now go check the online configurator and you'll see the only 20" wheels available in the United States. They're black-accented inbetween spokes. Maybe it's not noticeable to some, but I personally don't like those wheels nearly as much as the wheels available in Europe and Canada.

Yeah I see what you mean, definitely see the black accents. But to me those still aren't "black wheels." When I think black wheels I think actual totally black wheels. They're extremely common around here in Atlanta for some reason, but I'm not a big fan.
Good point about the Euro wheels. Just hopped on MB UK to take a look and I much prefer the 20" in Titanium Grey, which is not available in the US. This is puzzling.

I agree. I should have mentioned "black-accented" wheels earlier, my apologizes. It's a rather small difference, but I've never been a fan of those wheels since they started showing up on Kia/Hyundai/Honda. Mirrors, trim, and bumpers can with those wheels as well. It would be nice if MB would give us more options and less limitations with vehicle configuration. Can't have everything I suppose, but I am close to cancelling my order for the MY17 GLC450/Macan because of it.
Build:
GLC 250 in Exclusive trim
Polar White
18" 5-Spoke wheel
Artico in Black
Aluminium trim
Electric front seats with memory
Intelligent LED Light system
Active Parking Assist
Panoramic Sunroof
Mirror package
Interior lighting package
Easy-Pack Tailgate
KEYLESS GO starting function
Given a choice, I would have specced the car with Leather, Burmester sound system, Ambient lighting and Open-pore black ash wood trim but that would add 4 months to the delivery time and I couldn't wait that long so will just have to take whatever that is in the current first batch of incoming GLCs.
I was close to getting the BMW X3 prior to the GLC launch but glad I waited for this. The GLC better not disappoint!

My Build:
Selenite Grey w/designo white/black interior - loaded (few small things I didn't get)- Build was $$65k MSRP
AS OF 3/15:
Build was complete by 2/24 and as of today, it's still not on a ship AFAIK. Checked with the dealer 3/11 and it was not assigned and is still not assigned on the WW tracking site as of this AM. At this point I'm looking for an April delivery which sucks because I'm turning in my current lease this week.

I would call your dealer. Your car has to be on a ship. I cannot believe it is still at the port . It must not be on a WW ship if it is not showing up on their site.
