Not sure if you can tell from the pic I attached, but the trim is black. The exhaust tips are aluminum, which is interesting, but they provide a nice contrast. Really happy with the night package.

Cool thanks. Can't tell the color you got, but getting one with the metallic white and night package.

Yes I had the same question. So is it plastic or powder coated painted over the aluminum? Curious to know if it something that can be special ordered as attachment to bumper. All the night packages are sold out at the local dealers, yet to see one on the lot.

Just read pdf brochure someone posted for 2017's. The roof rails are described as Matte Black powder coated paint. Window trim is vague, not clear if it's painted or not. The lower bumper areas are also described as painted.

My 2016 GLC 300 Night Package with Espresso Interior
Got this coming off the boat in SOCAL. Had almost everything I would have ordered in a "special order" car.
Only thing I would have added would have been the upgraded stereo and a trailer hitch.
It has Night Package, and Espresso Brown Interior. I powder coated the stock 20" rims and added a clear rear bumper protector onto the car.
After 3500 miles I am averaging a pretty respectable 24.8 MPG around town and if I keep my foot off the pedal can get close to 30 on the highway.
I am happy with this car...

MBWorld Fanatic!
Wow, these are some really great pictures and very nice vehicles ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
(I wondered over to this forum after hearing about the latest GLC family member).
I really like rbrylaw's cardinal red... stunning!
I am particularly partial to Joe's color scheme and interior:

Thanks...the white designo is super nice. Not really a good option for those with small kids and it's probably a little more maintenance intensive to keep it protected from dye transfer etc but worth it IMO. It's the only interior option that also comes with the flat bottom steering wheel.
I'm really liking the red too though I have yet to see one in person...I can only imagine it looks better than the pics as things usually do.

'Red Ken'
Now already 2 weeks old, I've finally managed to take some photos (that's generally how long we have to wait for it to stop raining in a typical British summer!)
I love the way Hyacinth Red (a.k.a. Cardinal Red) changes from anything between burgundy and burnt orange depending on the light levels. Maybe that's why it costs slightly more than the other entry level Designo paint colours.

Being in Sport trim, it didn't come with any branding on the brake calipers so they were just screaming to be painted red.

In the UK we get a nice chrome "short overhang" front end when we order the off-road package.

I removed the "GLC 220d" and "4MATIC" badges along with the rear registration plate carrier for a much cleaner look.

I hate the way the newer water-based paint means cars these days all seem to come with a free orange peel effect. I spent over 12 hours (Mercedes clearcoat is some of the hardest out there) with my dual action orbital polisher doing a 2-stage polish which has definitely knocked down the orange peel and crisped up the finish. Finally I treated Red Ken to Blackfire's "Wet Ice Over Fire" kit to really get the metallic flakes to pop.
Thanks for looking,
Trevor.
