Production to Delivery?

In my case, I got a hold of the codes and just bugged my sales guy to death over what code mine was in. They have to go into NetStar to see the current code. But NetStar isn't a system we mere mortals can access.

I figured as much. I think what I'll do is proactively ask him to update me at key phases:
B3 NO CHANGES POSSIBLE
B5 PRODUCTION COMPLETE
B7 AT PORT/READY TO BE SHIPPED
C1 SHIP DEPARTED
C4 AT PORT
D4 READY TO DELIVER
D5 RELEASED TO CARRIER
F1 WHOLESALED AND INVOICED
I1 RETAIL
My wife and I will be out of town at various times in March but are flexible so if I have an idea of the timeline as it's happening I can plan accordingly.

I wasn't sure if they set up a customer site with those with builds pending that would be updated periodically with data from Netstar (whether auto or manually updated). Honestly, from a technology perspective, that would be very easy and a great customer service.

I wish they would have an online system. I have ordered a BMW in the past and their online system was nice.

My sales experience manager and his associate have been really great.
They update me on a regular basis. I also call them for updates. It takes them very little time to look in Netstar. Your SA should be able to do the same thing for you.

I have ordered in the past with BMW. Based on port schedule that I looked at. Multiple ships leaving today as well as Friday. Car will be going to VPC Brunswick. Should get there around Feb 21-23. I should see it in Dallas one week later. I should have it first week of March.

Think same think happened with me. Ordered 12 days ago and my expected build date is today!
No other way to explain it besides perfect timing and ordering in time before the dealer allocated cars went to RED in NetStar and they would be stuck. Now based on your ordering schedule I'm only 2 weeks behind you! Lol and I still can't wait.

I think all of us are the victim of the dealer picking a car that was already allocated to them and was reconfigured to our specs and the factory being able to build it the way we want it. My dealer tried an earlier build for me but could not get me the build I wanted. I wanted the lighting package. It was not available on an earlier build.

Also ordered my GLC on Dec 26, but the guy at my dealer has been no helped and I don't know what my status is at the moment, other then it will be here in a few months. Did you get the lighting package by any chance, as I hear people on the forums here say it will delay an order.

I ordered my GLC Nov. 29th and it FINALLY arrives in Brunswick, GA tomorrow!! It's been a LONG wait... should arrive at the dealership next week, just in time for me to pick it up and have hip surgery -
won't be getting many miles on it anytime soon!

Having that nice new GLC sitting in your driveway will certainly quicken your recovery! Good luck with your surgery.

not so bad
I ordered mine the same day as you and my car will arrive in July if everything happens normally.
Here, if you order a one today, you will receive it in December...
Everybody in the USA, be happy about your little time of delivery

I once waited seven months for a car because the seats I wanted were not available. Finally, my patients expired and as I was dialing the dealer to cancel, my phone rang. It was the salesperson telling me my car had just been unloaded off the truck.
I ordered the GLC 23 Dec. It arrived in the port of Baltimore earlier this week. Don't know how long it will take to get it loaded on the truck but once that occurs am guessing will take two days to Dayton (union driver). So, if I'm lucky, should have a new shiny selenite gray GLC in my garage next week. If not, expect to see me whining here.
