What would you like to see for the mid-cycle refresh
I haven't taken delivery yet, but I do have a couple of things I'd like to see made available for the mid-cycle refresh of the GLC.
1) The analog clock, which is available in the C Class sedan, but not available in the GLC. What?!!!
2) A dedicated storage spot for the tonneau cover for those times when the back seats are folded down, and you're transporting large items from Costco, Home depot, wherever. I'm picturing some kind of molded cutout that runs diagonally in the lower, lockable storage area.
That's it for now, but I'll probably have more thoughts on this once I've owned the car for a while. What would you like to see?

I haven't taken delivery yet either but based on my ordering experience and comments on here:
>Heated steering wheel availability in other color interiors besides black
>LED lights standard.
>Red designo interior option (basically red where the white is on the available option today)
>Electronically engage park when ignition is turned off (rather than neutral)
>Remember last start/stop setting (on or off) when starting car
That's all I can think of at the moment.

Yeah, +1 on CarPlay.
I read that it can be added to some cars as a software update. Someone had posted on here that it's not possible with the GLC but I haven't seen anything official about that.

-Virtual instrument cluster like the 2017 E or 2017 Q7. Or at least the multifunction display between the tach and speedo. I like the idea of seeing a true nav map there.
-double visors for side window shade
-I'm with Joe on more designo colors. I ordered the black by default because the platinum doesn't fit with my in car lifestyle. A brick red or saddle brown would be nice.
-full touchscreen. I don't understand how it's a safety issue. From what I've read about Command and its cumbersome UX, it would probably be safer to have a touch screen.

Also.. wider choice of colours. You've got blue, silver, grey, a different silver, a slightly lighter silver, white, another silver, an expensive red, black and a strange brown.
Surely they could do better with the colours?

More colors
Designo saddle brown interior is beautiful.
Touch screen. Even my VW TDI which I gave to my son had touch screen. Worked great.
Virtual instrument cluster like the e class.

Would like to see turn signals in the hud.
As part of easy exit include the seat moving to the max rear position. And upon ingressing and pressing the seat memory button having the seat return to the stored driving position.

If you are shifting with the paddles, does the HUD display the gear that you are in? If not, I'll add that to your turn signals...

I think the dash design of the new E-Class, running all the way across, would be awesome. But am I the only one who wants the retain the "old style" speedo and RPM instruments with a physical needle?
Don't get me wrong - I love the display space of a digital instrument cluster and the ability to customise - but I have yet to see an on-screen instrument cluster that I think looks anywhere near as nice as real dials.
I think the issue is probably that re-creating digital imitations of actual dials ends up looking pretty crappy. They should embrace the digital concept whole-heartedly and re-design the entire instrument cluster from the ground up, for a digital world.
