Hi from Land Down Under - Australia
The Australian brochure specifies
"• AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping system"
for both the 220 and 250 models.
It is pretty subtle but you do notice the difference with cornering (not so much with speed humps unfortunately)

these are the best lights i have ever driven with and we ordred same for my wifes Coupe. Brilliant with penetration and clarity on left into bush and highlighting road furniture, such as speed signs and exit info, etc.

Spare, and no run flats
Actually I looked around and wound up buying a compact spare kit from a 2010 ML350. I believe the tire size is 155 90 18. There already places to store the jack and handle in the trunk and the entire wheel fits under the trunk floor board .
I also made sure the spare wheel fit the car and cleared the brake calipers on the front. You do have to lug bolts for the spare wheel, got those at Pep Boys .
Interesting comment re brake lines and size of wheel bolts, any other ideas, options ?
Looking to place on GLC with 20" rims.......
What do UK and USA readers think ?
Thanks

Can anyone with steel springs and adjustable dampers confirm they can adjust the dampers separately (picture of the screen would be great).
I went hunting the other day to find an electrical connection to the dampers but couldn't see anything. Can confirm they are Bilsteins though!
Could be wrong though..

but there's no mention of it here:

I don't think "selective, passive damping system" equates to adaptive, in the sense that it's something that the driver can configure, either directly or via the sports steering setting.

Has anyone purchase a Silver or Plat Plan, up to 5 years ? If so how much please ? Could you negotiate, or was it all 'fixed' costs.
Here is link to Service plans, no costings however.

The GLC isn't listed in the doco, but apparently, or so I was told, the GLC has the higher pricing of the E-class rather than the C-class. On that basis, Silver service ranges from $AUD1,368 for two years to $AUD4,780 for five years, and Platinum ranges from $AUD2,368 to $7,780. For five years the GLC would be $AUD500 dearer than the C-class for Platinum and $AUD200 for Silver.

Many thanks, Asked dealer yesterday, getting run around from Spares and Service, suggested I se a salesperson. Have rung afilisted dealer, 24 hrs later they are still finding out. I may have blown my options by having the car more than 1 year and by travelling unknown km, though I was under 25k mark for first 12 mth anniversary service ?
So hopefully I will get some clarity in next 24 hours. I was luck with first car getting first two svs for free, did not offer same for our second one ? go figure, being a repeat customer and buying a dearer version. I guess they think the deal I got offset the savings of two free services !
Thanks again, will let you know what develops.
Melbourne Kingsway Dealership, only one owned in Sth Hemisphere by Merededs is up for sale by tender I understand.
Wonder which consortium will buy it and if sale includes Airport sister location ?

Next month seller from HK expects to have window visors (weather shields) avail for the new Coupe body as well - handy on wet or hot days to leave windows open slightly without risk of rain coming into cabin, also helps demister work quicker.

Still no word from Dealers re pre paid service plan, my fear is for our first GLC I needed to 'activate' my 'option', before my first service !!! At least I have time still for my wife's GLC Coupe. Will keep pressing dealership, or competitors, for answers and pricing.

About a week or so a person within MB advised that Oz, being a '3rd world country' reference only to our lack of Fed & State Govt unbalanced view to new technology thought we might get it in late 2018. Mercedes Me seems to offer lots of automated and semi automated options, like remote locking and status of car from thousand of Km away, remote starting to warm engine and demist, etc, etc. So I guess no time soon, all tied in with semi autom driving. In Oz with advanced cruise control we can take our hands off for 20 sec ?, most other countries do not put limitations, so you could effectively drive 100's km hands free with new tech, not here. Cannot wait for approval to go live, with option for remote diagnostics, firmware updated, etc. Might explain why on center roof console in Oz we are missing phone help button, garage opening button, etc.

Found this comment on another group.
"I carry one of these in my Porsches and a kit including a pump in the MB. If I had to use one, I will get to an independent tire store very soon and have it removed and the hole patched internally."

The plug looks impressive, a lot smaller than the traditional 4x4 kits I have seen in the auto stores. Very tempted to buy some for all our cars, simple but effective. Would work equally as well for run flats and conventional tyres.

"RACV rescues dozens of motorists in Victoria’s alpine regions during winter cold snaps, when their diesel can turn to gel in freezing conditions.
Guy Hummerston, RACV General Manager Automotive Services, said winter is always a busy time of the year, particularly for RACV’s Bright depot, which provides Emergency Roadside Assistance in the Alpine areas of Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.
When temperatures drop as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius, motorists can start having trouble with their vehicles. The Bright depot responded to 173 calls for help in last year’s winter season, about a third of which were for frozen diesel.
It is the most common roadside emergency that our members need help with in alpine areas during the snow season, accounting for up to 32 per cent of call-outs during the season.
“Standard diesel turns to a gel at around minus six degrees Celsius, which can be a problem when visitors to the alpine region fill their fuel tanks with standard diesel in Melbourne, for example,” Mr Hummerston said.
“It won’t be a problem while the vehicle is running because the fuel is flowing, but when you try to start the vehicle after it has been parked in the cold for some time, the engine may not start.
“When called out, RACV patrols will place a device under the vehicle to heat the fuel lines, but this will only work if the fuel is frozen in the fuel lines, not the tank.
“If the vehicle has been left overnight and the diesel has frozen in the tank, the vehicle is usually towed down the mountain where it defrosts naturally.
“While RACV patrols are always happy to help members get going again, RACV encourages motorists to fill up with alpine diesel to make the most of their time up at the snow.
“Alpine diesel can be difficult to source in Melbourne, but motorists can fill up at fuel stations in alpine areas.”
Mr Hummerston said alpine diesel can be added to regular diesel, but the ratio should be approximately 8:1. There is also an additive which can be added to standard diesel to lower the freezing point."
