I am genuinely pissed-- MY18 option packages design are much more reasonable than 17.

For MY18 you can get adaptive LED separately from the freaking $7K P3 package....and those of us who sprinted for '17 (no P3) were left with the sub-par performance of the static LED lights......

if you always keep waiting for the next one you'll never get anything. there are always changes between every year. this goes for everything, there is always a new model. if it is such an issue order an 2018 and use your 2017 as a trade in. it will be worth a large trade in amount.

They had to have realized they made a mistake by requiring P3 for the adaptive LED's for the 2017 MY. It was a must-have option for us, so we ponied up for a package we really didn't want. I can see why a lot of buyers wouldn't (or couldn't) do that.

Those that waited for 18 are still waiting. As mentioned above, changes happen almost every model year. Life is too short... enjoy the ride.

So because of production queue and summer vacation I won't get a production date until August this year. Does this mean I'll get different options than the MY17? My dealer is aware of the long waiting time for the 350e, but didnt mention anything about new stuff when I put down my order in early February.

if you're ordering a MY18, options will be different from MY17. MY19 should again have some more changes. Before you know it, it will be a redesign.

I am too. I would have ordered both if it allowed it. Alas, I chose the larger screen and thinking I won't be missing out on much, especially considering there is no touch screen.
