GLC43 Gas Mileage

Just curious, what kink of MPGs are GLC43 drivers getting? And in what kind of driving conditions?

I'm a owner still on the first tank of gas and we're around 13 MPG in mostly city driving using "break-in" driving patterns. Obviously hoping this gets better!

Thanks...

Well that's encouraging...I'd be totally fine with anything around 20 MPG...13 MPG, not so much!

The only long journey I have done was a 120 mile round trip on A/B roads and got 27mpg.

Are you in the U.S.? I'm asking because Philamg is in the UK. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that 24 number is Imperial MPG's, which converts to 20 U.S. MPG.

I'm getting about 13-14 MPG since my commute is mostly local streets. However, I took my GLC 43 on the highway for a business trip, and got about 16 MPG. Either way, I didn't buy a GLC 43 to save gas.

because that would be nothing short of a miracle on a GLC43

MPG last week.

A round trip from Glen Ellyn, IL to Utica, IL and back.
One photo just prior to arriving in Utica and the other upon return. Mild weather, light traffic. The photos tell it all.

Photo taken by my daughter whilst I was driving our car. We were on our way to the UK AMG meet as organised by the private lounge. So yes of course it is in a glc43 as that is the car I own, and that is what this thread is about isn't it?

I find that it is easily achievable, saying that my wife can't manage more than 20. It is all down to ones driving style.

I think there are a few points that are leading to confusion:

1. The original thread is about the GLC43 AMG. Any other vehicle stats are only misleading and confusing the conversation.
2. There is a difference between US MPG and Imperial MPG. And here we have US and UK owners.

1 US MPG = 1.2 IMPERIAL MPG
1 IMPERIAL MPG = 0,83 US MPG

This said, I only have about 700km (435 miles) on my GLC43, and I have to say that I am very surprised with the mileage. The past weekend I made a 500km (320 mile) drive mixed highway and mountain roads, and got 25 IMPERIAL MPG / 21 US MPG / 11 L/100Km. Highway cruise speed 145km/h (90 mph), mountain roads cruise speed 100 km/h (60mph) with a few overtakes.

Mine is definitely GLC43 AMG, pretty well documented on here and as per my profile shown on every page But yes in the proper original units

Just been on a 50 mile run in mine and decided to take it easy in economy and achieved
just under 29 uk mpg, averaging just over 23 on last 430 miles since reset.
